CeCe Madison led ORU with 3.38 kills per set last week and has recorded a double-double in each of her last four outings, started by a career-high 25 kills against SMU. She has been named to the all-tournament team in each of the first two weekends of competition in 2019.

•Libero Sarah Thiessen has helped ORU to the second-most digs in the NCAA this season as the Jenks, Oklahoma, native leads the team with 129.

•Senior Bri Greenlee posted a career-best 109 total blocks in 2018 and leads the Golden Eagles with 21 block assists this year. The senior jumped to eighth in ORU history after registering eight block assists Saturday in the doubleheader.

•A pair of freshmen continue to make an impact in the Golden Eagles lineup as setter Sylvia Lawson is averaging nearly 10 set assists per set, while Laura Shoopman has topped the team in kills three times, including 18 versus Air Force.

•Tulsa makes the short drive to ORU having won back-to-back matches closing the KC Roos Klassic last weekend over LA Tech and Kansas City. Dilara Gedikoglu paces the Golden Hurricane offense totaling 94 kills and Taylor Horsfall's 5.22 digs per set is the best for the defense.

•Head Coach Sheera Sirola, ORU's all-time winningest coach, added five newcomers to the roster for 2019, including four freshmen. Kalli Caddell is the lone junior college transfer, while Mackenzie Edwards, Sakira LaCour, Laura Shoopman and Jeslyn Spencer all are set for their first collegiate season.

•ORU has three players to replace in the lineup with the graduation of libero Tori Roe, setter Bria Bergman and outside hitter Lara Picht. Roe was the fourth player in ORU history to reach the 1,500-dig milestone, while Bergman totaled 9.65 assists per set and Picht added 2.30 kills per set.

•The Golden Eagles have reached the conference tournament six of the last seven seasons and will try to utilize 13 home matches to bounce back from only their ninth losing season in program history.
