DENVER, Colo. – The No. 5 seed Oral Roberts volleyball team could not keep pace with top-seed and host Denver falling in three sets (24-26, 19-25, 12-25) Saturday night in The Summit League Championship Semifinals from Hamilton Gymnasium.

The Golden Eagles were two points from winning the opening set before the Pioneers rallied back and never relented in front of a raucous crowd. The two teams split the regular season series with each team winning on its home court.

ORU ends its season with a 17-15 overall record, going 8-8 in league play, and marks the final match of the career of its lone senior, Kari Anderson.
