► Oral Roberts volleyball enters week two of its 39th season just one win shy of 900 in program history. In her 13th season as the head coach, Sheera Sirola returns one of her most talented teams that include Summit League Newcomer of the Year, Laura Milos and All-Freshman Team setter Lucija Bojanjac.
► The Golden Eagles have been no stranger to national coverage, having played on SEC Network+ twice over the past two years. Saturday's' match against Missouri State will also be aired national on ESPN3 and through the WatchESPN app.
► Milos was one of just two players in the Summit League and 26 in the country to record over 500 kills last season. The sophomore returns after finishing in the top 10 in kills and kills per set in the ORU single-season record books last season.
► Bojanjac returns as the only setter with collegiate experience on the Golden Eagles' roster after finishing with 1,295 assists as a freshman. She averaged 10.88 assists per set which was the seventh best mark in a single-season at ORU.
► Returning for her senior season, Jovana Poljasevic is just one of two seniors for ORU. As a sophomore she ranked in the top 10 of the league rankings in hitting percentage after battling back from an injury and posting a .271 clip.
► Last season the Golden Eagles struggled defensively at the net finishing eighth in blocks per set. Shelby Cox led the team with 73 blocks while Poljasevic added 71 blocks, ORU looks to put more emphasis on its blocking game in 2015.
► A deep group of talented newcomers join ORU in 2015 as the Golden Eagles could look for help from its younger players again. Five true freshman and one junior college transfer joins the ORU roster after starting four freshman last season.
THE TOURNAMENT FIELD
► Three of the four teams in this weekend's field enter the tournament with an unblemished 3-0 record. ORU is the lone team with a loss, having fallen to Ole Miss on the road in the season opener.
► ORU went 2-1 during the opening weekend with Laura Milos and Nika Mostahinic each earning 2015 Magnolia Invitational All-Tournament Team honors.
► Missouri State rolled through the Pepsi Panther Invitational in Milwaukee on the opening weekend, topping Furman and Milwaukee 3-0 and beating Western Michigan 3-2.
► Marquette is 3-0 after topping North Dakota (3-1), Dayton (3-0) and #21 Iowa State (3-0) at the Cyclone Invitational in Ames, Iowa. After the upset, Marquette took home BIG EAST Player and Freshman of the Week honors.
► A 2014 NCAA Tournament team, the Miami Hurricanes swept their home tournament, the Hurricane Invitational. After beating Illinois State and Florida A&M each by scores of 3-0, Kansas State took the Hurricanes to the brink but Miami clinched the tournament championship with a 3-2 victory.
