TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts women's soccer team built a pair of two-goal leads over visiting South Dakota, but had to settle for a 4-4 draw on a frigid night at the Case Soccer Complex Thursday.
Less than seven minutes into the contest, Jordan Langebartels put the Golden Eagles in front by two as the senior scored in the 4th minute and added her second of the night just three minutes later. Shayla Padilla and the ORU attack found space behind the Coyotes back line in the early going and Padilla got to the end line and curled a cross to an on-running Langebartels for the volley and 1-0 advantage.

The Coyotes picked up the pressure and finally cracked the ORU defense as Kellee Willer tallied a pair of goals only 32 seconds apart to stun the Golden Eagles and even the match, 2-2. The home side was not deterred and took a 3-2 advantage into halftime as Drishana Pillay sailed a beauty to the back post in the 31st minute off a feed from Mia Kitterman.
ORU stretched its lead to two immediately out of the break as McGowan found the back of the net 31 seconds into the second stanza as Pillay and Langebartels picked up assists.
