TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts women's soccer team will host South Dakota, Thursday, Oct. 31, in its final regular home match of the 2019 season. 10 seniors will be honored following the match at the Case Soccer Complex.

SCOUTING THE COYOTES
South Dakota is led by second year head coach Michael Thomas. In his first season at USD, Thomas guided the Coyotes to their best season in the Division I era with nine wins. Alexis Mitchell leads South Dakota with 14 points, while Kellee Willer follows with 12 points. Most recently, Willer was named The Summit League Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 22-27.
ALL-TIME SERIES VS. SOUTH DAKOTA
Oral Roberts leads the all-time series 4-2-0, including a 2-0-0 record when playing at the Case Soccer Complex. The Golden Eagles last defeated the Coyotes on Oct. 8, 2017, in a 1-0 overtime match. In the last meeting between the two teams, ORU fell short, 3-1, to USD in Vermillion, S.D.
LAST TIME OUT
The Golden Eagles defeated Western Illinois, 1-0, in a double-overtime thriller in Macomb, Ill. Brianna McGowan recorded her first career goal torching the Lethernecks goal keeper with 23 seconds left. The win propelled Oral Roberts to fourth place tie in The Summit League standings with eight points.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Freshman goal keeper Allison Austin was named The Summit League Defensive Player of the Week, for the week of Oct. 22-27. Austin recorded her second career shutout, while tallying seven saves, including four in the final 10 minutes of regulation to force overtime. It was Austin's first career Player of the Week honor.

The Golden Eagles carry a 2-0-3 record in overtime matches this season, including a 2-0-2 record in The Summit League. Oral Roberts has netted the golden goal in the last two overtime matches winning 1-0 on Oct. 17 against North Dakota and 1-0 at Western Illinois on Oct. 27.
ONE LAST GO AROUND
10 seniors will make their final appearance at the Case Soccer Complex, Thursday night. Following the match, a senior celebration will be held for Anna Gornell, Shannon Smith, Marina Solberg, Daniella De Sousa, Tatum Grigsby, Brooklyn Eardley, McKenzie Edwards, Jordan Langebartels, Kelli Keller and Allison Hurd.
ALL-TIME WATCH LIST
Senior forward Jordan Langebartels recorded her 18th career goal to move up to No. 10 all-time in Oral Roberts history. Langebartels, a Tulsa native, currently has 44 career points, three shy of No. 10 all-time Gentry Detter (2003-06).
MISTER ROGER'S NEIGHBORHOOD
Head Coach Roger Bush is back for his seventh season leading the Golden Eagles, after six seasons Bush has a 61-61-12 record at ORU. Student-athletes under Bush have earned 26 all-conference honors, 13 player of the week awards and two have earned CoSIDA Academic All-America honors. Bush was named the 2016 Summit League Women's Coach of the Year.
SUMMIT LEAGUE PRESEASON OUTLOOK
A year after finishing 3-5-0 in league play, the Golden Eagles were picked to finish seventh in the 2019 Summit League Preseason Coaches' Poll. Senior midfielder Jordan Langenbartels was one of 13 athletes named to the The Summit League Players to Watch List, Langenbartels led the Golden Eagles with career-highs in goals (7) and points (18) despite only appearing in 15 of 20 matches.
SUMMIT LEAGUE CURRENT OUTLOOK
The Golden Eagles are currently tied in fourth place with North Dakota State with five points after starting 2-2-2 in league play. South Dakota State and Denver have each punched their tickets to the #SummitWSOC Championships, while two spots are still up for grabs.
