TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts women's soccer team will hit the road to take on the North Dakota Fighting Hawks, Oct. 17 at 3 p.m. Due to the storm that swept through the north last week and unplayable field conditions, the match will be played at East Grand Forks High School.

SCOUTING THE FIGHTING HAWKS
North Dakota enters the match at the top of The Summit League standings with nine points. UND recently won a pair of road shutouts defeating Purdue Fort Wayne (1-0) and Western Illinois (1-0). Chris Logan is now in his third year leading the program with an overall record of 24-18-7. Mimi Eiden leads the Fighting Hawks attack with 15 points and seven goals. As a team UND has outscored its opponents 28-12. Catherine Klein sits between the pipes for North Dakota and ranks fourth in The Summit in saves (63), save percentage (.840) and goals-against average (0.83). Most recently she earned co-defensive player of the week while recording a combined six saves in two shutouts.

Oral Roberts is 0-1-0 all-time against North Dakota. The Golden Eagles lost to the Fighting Hawks, 1-0, on Sept. 30, 2018, at the Case Soccer Complex.
LAST TIME OUT
The Golden Eagles battled North Dakota State Bison to a draw, 1-1, the second tie in league action for ORU. Freshman goalkeeper Allison Austin equaled her career high with nine saves, while Shayla Padilla netted her fourth goal of the season.

ORU played a non-conference schedule that featured matchups with five opponents ranked in the top-100 RPI and two that are currently ranked in the top-15 in the United Soccer Coaches poll, Oklahoma State No. 15 and Texas Tech No. 13.

Head Coach Roger Bush is back for his seventh season leading the Golden Eagles, after six seasons Bush has a 59-60-12 record at ORU. Student-athletes under Bush have earned 26 all-conference honors, 13 player of the week awards and two have earned CoSIDA Academic All-America honors. Bush was named the 2016 Summit League Women's Coach of the Year.
SUMMIT LEAGUE PRESEASON OUTLOOK
A year after finishing 3-5-0 in league play, the Golden Eagles were picked to finish seventh in the 2019 Summit League Preseason Coaches' Poll. Senior midfielder Jordan Langenbartels was one of 13 athletes named to the The Summit League Players to Watch List, Langenbartels led the Golden Eagles with career-highs in goals (7) and points (18) despite only appearing in 15 of 20 matches.
SUMMIT LEAGUE CURRENT OUTLOOK
South Dakota State (3-0-0) and North Dakota (3-1-0) sit atop The Summit with nine points a piece. Western Illinois is in third with six points, while Denver and North Dakota State are tied for fourth with four points each. South Dakota and Omaha each have three points after a 1-2-0 start, while ORU has two points after recording draws to Denver and North Dakota State.
