STILLWATER, Okla. – Three late goals doomed the Oral Roberts women's soccer team in a 4-0 loss to Oklahoma State, Sunday night at Neal Patterson Stadium.

The Golden Eagles started the night off on the wrong foot after giving up the first goal within 18-seconds of the match. Despite being down early, ORU quickly attacked back as Jordan Langebartels just missed high on her first shot attempt.

Redshirt sophomore Pamela Caballeros recorded the second shot of the night for the Golden Eagles, Caballeros was unlucky as Oklahoma State keeper Dani Greenlee recorded her first save of the night.

After the early mishap by the ORU defense, defenders Brooklyn Eardley and Mackenzi Kirschner took command and pressured the OSU attackers into forcing six shots off target in the first half.

Following the half, Caballeros led an attacking ORU offense that found an opportunity at the 47th minute that was denied by the Cowgirl keeper.

In the 69th minute, the Golden Eagles missed out on back-to-back scoring opportunities as Caballeros found Eardley in the box as the five-foot ten-inch defender missed just high on the header. On the second corner attempt, Caballeros decided to play it to the near post to fellow teammate Amogelang Motau as the junior rifled in a shot that was denied by OSU.

After feeling the pressure from the Golden Eagles, the Cowgirls answered with an attack of their own that resulted in three goals within five minutes beginning in the 73rd minute.

ORU saw its last scoring opportunity in the 83rd minute as sophomore Martha Helsee sent a dribbler into the hands of back OSU keeper Brylee Brasher.
