"The game didn't go in our favor," said co-captain Marina Solberg. "I know we have become more hungry after tonight. We played against a good team, but we have to continue to go into matchups knowing that we are going head-to-head with them and not looking at it as power five school or not. We know that we can compete with anyone."
"Our freshmen is a great class that has come in and has provided a lot of help on and off the field," Solberg said. "A lot of them got a good amount of playing time tonight and I thought they played really well under all the pressure that you can sometimes feel at away games. I think there is a lot of things that we took away from tonight."
"Heading into Stillwater we know that they are going to be just as good as Texas Tech," said Solberg. "We are looking to get better and we have made a step forward, but we aren't ok with losing and we want to win. We want to have ORU up there with the big names and we won't be satisfied until we continue growing and continue winning."
The Golden Eagles travel to Stillwater to face in-state foe Oklahoma State Sunday, Sept. 1 at 7 p.m.
