TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts women's soccer team will travel to Lubbock, Texas, to face the Texas Tech Red Raiders Thursday, August 29 at 7 p.m., at the John B. Walker Soccer Complex.

SCOUTING THE RED RAIDERS
Head coach Tom Stone is in his 13th season leading the Red Raiders, while at Texas Tech he has amassed a 141-80-29 record and is the winningest coach in program history. Tech is 1-1 in the 2019 young season, winning the season opener at San Diego State, 6-1, and dropping its last outing at New Mexico, 1-0. The Red Raiders opened the season ranked No. 22 and have since dropped out
of the top-25.
Defender or forward, junior Drishana Pillay can play anywhere and everywhere on the field. After opening the season as a defender against Rice University, Pillay moved to forward in game two tallying a seven-point performance with three goals and one assist.
Senior Jordan Langebartels is off to a hot start, in two games the forward has recorded nine shots finding the back of the net twice. Dating back to the 2018 season, the Tulsa native has scored six goals in her last eight games.
MR. ROGER'S NEIGHBORHOOD
Head Coach Roger Bush is back for his seventh season leading the Golden Eagles, after six seasons Bush has a 57-53-9 record at ORU. This will be the third time Bush has coached against Texas Tech posting an 0-2-0 record. Student-athletes under Bush have earned 26 all-conference honors, 13 player of the week awards and two have earned CoSIDA Academic All-America honors. Bush was named the 2016 Summit League Women's Coach of the Year.
SUMMIT LEAGUE OUTLOOK
A year after finishing 3-5-0 in league play, the Golden Eagles were picked to finish seventh in the 2019 Summit League Preseason Coaches' Poll. Senior midfielder Jordan Langenbartels was one of 13 athletes named to the The Summit League Players to Watch List, Langenbartels led the Golden Eagles with career-highs in goals (7) and points (18) despite only appearing in 15 of 20 matches.

Oral Roberts recorded its first victory defeating University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 7-0. The Golden Eagles set an all-time ORU team game record with 46 shots, while goalies Allison Austin, Kamryn Lunde and Sakura Wilson combined for the team shutout.
