Ryliegh Bohnenstiehl Earns Back-to-Back League Honors

ELMHURST, Ill. – Denver forward Jessie Dancy and South Dakota State forward Nicole Hatcher were named The Summit League Offensive Players of the Week, while Oral Roberts goalkeeper Ryliegh Bohnenstiehl and Omaha goalkeeper Haley Johnson notched the Defensive honors.

Dancy netted three goals in the league's opening weekend, bringing her season goal total to a league-leading nine. Hatcher scored two goals and added two assists in two games this weekend, bringing her career assist total to 20.

Both Bohnenstiehl and Johnson kept clean sheets in victories over Western Illinois and Fort Wayne, respectively.

  • Earned her third career Player of the Week accolade and second consecutive of the 2017 season
  • Recorded four saves and did not allow a goal in 90 minutes of action against Western Illinois
  • Ranks fifth with .771 save percentage and fourth with 1.53 goals against average in the league

Sr. // GK // Bountiful, Utah

  • Earned her first career Player of the Week accolade
  • Stopped five shots and notched the first clean sheet of her Omaha career in a 1-0 win over Fort Wayne
  • Has allowed the fewest goals in the league (five), has the lowest goals against average (0.94), and holds the highest save percentage (.844)
  • Helped team secure first road league win since 2014 and only the second Summit League road shutout in program history

  • Scored three goals on the weekend over league foes South Dakota State and North Dakota State

  • Only the fourth Denver player to score at least nine goals in the first 13 matches

  • Earned her fourth career Player of the Week honor and second of the season
  • Scored the equalizer at Denver and assisted on the game-winner to lead team to an overtime victory over the Pioneers
  • Netted a goal against Bellevue, now having scored in five consecutive games
  • Moves into a tie for 10th on The Summit League career assists record list (20) and is one assist shy of the program record
