Lippe Named Summit League Player of the Week

TULSA, Okla. – Oral Roberts women's basketball sophomore guard Keni Jo Lippe earned her first career Summit League Player of the Week honor for her efforts against North Dakota State. Purdue Fort Wayne senior guard De'Jour Young also earned the weekly honor to make Co-Players of the Week.

Lippe had a career day for the Golden Eagles. She scored a career-high 34-points and added 12 rebounds for her second career double-double in Oral Roberts' victory over North Dakota State. She shot 62.5 percent (10-for-16) from the field and 60 percent (6-for-10) from long range. Lippe also went a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line.

Young helped guide her Mastodon squad to back-to-back Summit League wins for the first since the 2013-14 season. On their way to back-to-back wins, she scored a career-high 25-points against Omaha and 14-points against Denver.

• She earned her second career double-double with 12 rebounds while dishing out one assist and forcing two steals

• She shot over 60 percent in field goal percentage and 3-point percentage while going 8-for-8 from the free throw line

• This is Lippe's first career player of the week honor

• Young scored a career-high 25 points in the Mastodons win over Omaha and followed up her career game with 14 points against Denver

• She helped led the 'Dons to their first win over Denver since 2016 while holding the Pioneers to their lowest shooting percentage in almost four years

• She also helped Purdue Fort Wayne earn their first back-to-back Summit League wins since the 2013-14 season

• Young becomes the first Mastodon to earn player of the week honors since Rachel Rinehart on Dec. 29, 2014

• This is Young's first career player of the week honor
