Ihim, Martianez and Mayberry Earn Summit League Postseason Honors

TULSA, Okla. – The Summit League announced Wednesday that Oral Roberts women's basketball student-athletes Faith Ihim, Maria Martianez and Maya Mayberry were honored with postseason accolades by the league office in voting by head coaches, sports information directors and select media members.

Ihim was named to the All-Summit League 1st Team, Martianez earned a spot on the All-Summit League 2nd Team and Maya Mayberry was selected to the Summit League All-Newcomer Team.

A senior from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ihim led ORU in scoring with 14.6 points per game and 410 total points in the regular season. Ihim also lead her team and the Summit League overall in total rebounds with 227 and an average of 8.1 rebounds per game. She surpassed 1,000 total points for her career back in November against Arkansas and became the 20th player in ORU women's basketball history to do so. Ihim is also the 10th player all-time to have more than 1,000 points and 500-plus rebounds in their career. She secured her first career triple-double on senior night against Omaha with 13 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. It was the only triple-double recorded by a Summit League player during the regular season.

Martianez, a native of Barcelona, Spain, started in 10 league games during the regular season for ORU averaging 12.3 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. She recorded four double-doubles this season. Martianez tied her career high with 20 points in the Golden Eagles' win over Alcorn State in December. She finished third in the regular season in overall rebounds in the Summit League with 7.5 boards per game.

Mayberry, a freshman from Fayetteville, Arkansas, finished the regular season second in the Summit League in overall three-point percentage at 46.4 percent. Mayberry is second in the nation in overall three-point percentage by a true freshman at 46.4 percent with a minimum of three attempts per game. She averaged 11.4 points per game for the regular season and recorded a total of 319 points. Mayberry led the team in scoring eight times during the regular season.
