FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Oral Roberts track and field teams posted four event titles Friday during the Arkansas Invitational on its way to a strong showing inside the Randal Tyson Track Center.

News and Notes
-For the second time in as many meets this season, Sasha Wells sprinted past the field in the 60 meter hurdles for another event title. The sophomore won in a time of 8.62 seconds after claiming the race at the Bob Timmons Challenge in December.

-The Golden Eagles won each of the final three heats in the men's 400 meter run as senior Emmanuel Mwewa took the top spot in a blistering pace of 47.51. Brad Dormeus raced to a heat victory placing third overall, while Cameron Neely finished in sixth place.

-ORU added another event title in the 800 meter run as Bryce Choate breezed by his competition with a winning time of 1:56.53.

-Jaden Purnell topped his previous best of the season in the triple jump winning for the second-straight meet, this time leaping 15.58 meters. The senior also placed second in the long jump.
