LAWRENCE, Kan. –  The Oral Roberts University track and field teams brought home a pair of victories, including the fastest time in five years by the 4x400m relay team, as the Golden Eagles competed against Big 12 teams at the Rock Chalk Classic hosted by KU.

News & Notes
- The men's 4x400m relay team won the event and ran the fastest time since 2011. Their combined time of 3:07.42 has them inside the top 20 in the west region.

- Destanie Thomas ran a career best by three seconds in the 800m run, finishing sixth overall at 2:15.18.

- Tiffany Richeson posted a career best in the pole vault with a vault of 3.90m (12-9.5)

- D'Khari Hicks ran 21.07, squeaking by his personal lifetime best by 0.01 seconds.

- Jaden Purnell got out a career best 14.47m (47-5.75) in the triple jump to finish third overall.

- Seniors Joseph Reis-Herron and Tamaira Williams each competed Friday at the Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invitational, hosted by Missouri Southern.
