PITTSBURG, Kan. – The Oral Roberts women's 200m record had stood since 1994 until Saturday when two Golden Eagles bested that time. The new school record highlighted the day of action at the 8^th Annual David Suenram Gorilla Classic.

News & Notes
- ORU's women's 200m record of 23.78 had belonged to Sophia Brown since 1994. On Saturday, Tamaira Williams broke that mark, only to be beaten out by her teammate Madison Reynolds, who will go down as the new school record holder in the event.  

- The 200m record is the second school record to go down this year after the women's 4x100m relay team took down the school mark at the Texas Tech meet earlier in the season.

- Reynolds also won the 400m dash, setting a new stadium record at 53.48.

- ORU won five events, but had the top collegiate mark in three other events.

- The men's 4x100m relay team ran a season best 40.40, less than one second off the school record in the event.

- ORU set 21 season or career bests on Saturday.
