ELMHURST, Ill. - Oral Roberts University sprinter Madison Reynolds earned her second individual honor of the season as she was named the Summit League Women's Track and Field Athlete of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
Reynolds, a native of Oklahoma City, ran away with a victory in the 400-meter dash Saturday afternoon at the Mark Colligan Memorial, crossing the finish line with a time of 53.89, nearly three seconds ahead of the second place finisher. The mark was her second fastest career time in the event and 13th best mark in Division I this season.
The junior also teamed up with Asher Roberts, Tamaira Williams and Omega Reese as she anchored a victorious 4x400-meter relay team. The team crossed the line at the 3:46.90 mark, the league's best time and national Top-50 performance.
Reynolds received the same honor on January 13.
