TULSA, Okla. – The ORU men's soccer team won its sixth-straight match to advance to 8-1 overall and 1-0 in Summit League play with a 6-0 dominating win over Purdue Fort Wayne Saturday.
In the second half the Golden Eagles scored at will. Berry recorded his second goal of the night and seventh of the season after getting the rebound on his own blocked shot and connecting with the back of the net in the 61st minute.
Arias scored his second goal of the night in the 71st minute to put the Golden Eagles up 4-0 on a cross by Vinicius Oliveira. Oliveira was credited with the assist.
Quaynor scored his first goal of the season in the 77th minute on a great play that was crossed in to the box by Josselyn Petel. Petel first received the ball from Oliveira. Petel and Oliveira both were credited with assists.
Junior Chavez put ORU up 6-0 with his first goal of the season on a penalty kick goal in the 79th minute.
