Men’s Soccer Claims 1-0 Win at Cal Baptist

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The ORU men's soccer team grabbed its third win of the season and first on the road with a 1-0 victory over Cal Baptist Sunday afternoon in Riverside, California.

The lone goal of the day came from Dante Brigida. Brigida out ORU on the board in the 60th minute of the game to record the game winning goal. Eugene Quaynor recorded the assist on the play.

Brigida currently leads the Summit League with four goals and eight points on the season.

-ORU had 15 shots on the day with eight on goal. CBU took a total of 19 shots with eight on goal.

-Summit League Defensive Player of the Week, Miles Motakef, returned as goalkeeper and played all 90 minutes. Motakef recorded eight saves in the game. He is tied for second in the league in overall saves. His recorded improves to 2-0.
