Rogers named CSM Summit League Player of the Week

TULSA, Okla. - Forward Matthew Rogers was honored for his performances in a pair of matches last week as College Sports Madness named him its Summit League Player of the Week.

Rogers was outstanding in ORU's 3-2 victory over Incarnate Word at the Case Soccer Complex on Tuesday, delivering the game-winning goal with 1:39 left in the match. The sophomore put the Golden Eagles on the board for the first time in the 22nd minute for his first goal of the match.

Rogers added a shot on Saturday in a scoreless draw versus Omaha.

A native of Broken Arrow, Okla., Rogers is second on the ORU squad with three goals, two assists and eight points. He leads the team with eight shots on goal this season.
