Aidan Saunders Signs with ORU

TULSA, Okla. – For the second day in a row, the Oral Roberts men's basketball program has announced the addition of a junior college guard as Aidan Saunders has signed to play for the Golden Eagles after two years at Three Rivers College.

Saunders, a 6-4, 185-pound guard, averaged 14.5 points and 3.1 rebounds per game in two seasons with the Raiders, scoring 18 points per game as a sophomore. He scored a career high 30 points against North Arkansas College January 27.

At Miller Grove High School in Lithonia, Georgia, Saunders helped his team to a number two ranking in the state of Georgia and a perfect 12-0 region record as a senior.

"Aidan is a competitor who is wired to score the basketball. He's at his best when he's in attack mode; where he can really get downhill to get to the basket and is able to use his pull up mid-range jumper.  He is a winner who has won a state championship at Miller Grove HS in Georgia. We are excited Aidan has joined our basketball family at ORU."
