Saw action in 18 of the first 19 games of the season before suffering a season-ending foot injury … averaged 3.1 points and 1.5 rebounds per game, but scored six points in his final full game of the season … scored a season high 11 points with a season best five rebounds against John Brown (12/10), shooting 4-5 from the field and 3-4 from 3-point range in the contest … scored at least two points in 11 of the 18 games in which he played … saw a season high 19 points against Tulsa (11/28) and was a perfect 2-2 from 3-point range in an overtime contest against Ole Miss (11/18).
Prior to ORU
Played one season at Hesston College for Coach Dustin Gaylon … helped his Hesston team to an 18-12 record and scored a season-high 34 points against NOC-Enid … averaged a team-best 18.6 points per game, shooting nearly 40 percent from 3-point range … also led his team at 8.1 rebounds per game.
Played for Coach Derrick Davis at John H. Reagan HS … graduated in the top 10 percent of his class and was a two time first team all-district selection and the district MVP … hit the 50-point mark against Lanier HS and was an All-Central Texas selection … was also a standout on the football field and the track.
Son of Shlinda Harris and James Harris … majoring in architecture at ORU but hopes to pursue a professional basketball career after college … also recruited by Missouri State, Omaha, Louisiana-Monroe, Texas State and others, but chose ORU because it is “the best place to grow as an athlete and as a person.
