Quick Hits
• After winning the first meeting of the season, ORU is now 30-7 all-time against the Leathernecks, including seven of the last eight. Both teams enter Saturday's game coming off a win and the Leathernecks have won two in a row after starting the Summit League season 0-9.

A win Saturday would give ORU its second season sweep in as many games after topping IUPUI for the second time.

A loss Saturday would give ORU nine Summit League losses, making it impossible to finish .500 in the league.

• In the first meeting of the season, ORU turned up the pressure in the second half, out-scoring WIU 46-30 to overcome a seven point halftime deficit. Emegano scored 30 points, while Conley and Owens each grabbed eight boards.

• ORU started the year 8-2, claimed the PSO Mayor's Cup for the third year in a row with a 70-68 win over Tulsa, and swept through the Men Against Breast Cancer Classic at  James Madison to win the tournament with a 3-0 record.

Albert Owens and Obi Emegano (MVP) were each named to the Men Against Breast Cancer Classic All-Tournament Team after helping ORU to a 3-0 record and tournament championship.

• ORU was picked to finish third in The Summit League in the preseason poll, although the Golden Eagles did pick up one first place vote. Obi Emegano, who has earned a league-best three Player of the Week honors already, was tabbed as the league's Player of the Year.
