TULSA, Okla. – Up just six at half, the ORU White team steadily pulled away in the second half to top ORU Blue 70-50 in a scrimmage Saturday morning at the Mabee Center.
Jalen Bradley was 7-12 on the day, including a 5-8 mark from 3-point range to lead all scorers with 19 points for White. Javan White added 16, DaQuan Jeffries scored 15 and Obi Emegano chipped in 14. White notched the double-double with a game-high 15 rebounds.
A 3-pointer by Darian Harris cut the White lead to three as the second half began, newcomers Jalen Bradley, DaQuan Jeffries and Javan White led White on a 10-2 run to push the lead to 11 with 14:44 to go in the game. A 3-pointer stopped the run but it was the only time the rest of the game in which the lead got under 10.
White: Jalen Bradley scored a game-high 19 points, while Javan White scored 16 points and added 15 rebounds.
Blue: Aaron Young was 7-13 from the field and scored 16 points.

- White shot 55.6 percent (25-45) from the field for the game, including a 47 percent (10-21) mark from 3-point range. The team's downfall was the free throw line where they hit just 62 percent (10-16).
- Blue was 35 percent (18-51) from the field, 25 percent (4-16) from the 3-point line but 83 percent (10-12) from the charity stripe.
- Thanks to White's 15 boards, his team out-rebounded Blue 34-22 for the game.
ORU will begin the exhibition season November 2 as the Golden Eagles host Rogers State at 7 p.m.
