TULSA, Okla. - Coming off a 10-point victory on Thursday night, the Oral Roberts men's basketball team will remain at home Saturday as the Golden Eagles host South Dakota. Saturday's game will tip off at 7 p.m. from the Mabee Center and will be broadcast on ESPN3 and will be available through the WatchESPN app.
Geoff Haxton's radio call of the game can be heard at 97.1 FM in the Tulsa area and around the world for free through www.ORUAthletics.com.
- After escaping Vermillion with a 73-72 win earlier this year, ORU is now 5-0 all-time against South Dakota. ORU led for just 1:53 in the game and never by more than a point, but picked up the road win.
- ORU apparently feels the love on Valentine's Day, having posted a perfect 5-0 record on Feb. 14 under Scott Sutton.
- A win Thursday would move ORU's home record to 10-1 this season. The Golden Eagles have won 10 home games or more in three of the last five seasons entering 2014-15.
- A loss Thursday would be ORU's second home loss of the season after the Golden Eagles went almost a full calendar year without a home loss. It would also mark the first time in which ORU has lost to South Dakota.
