FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Riley Keizor blasted a pair of solo home runs for the Oral Roberts baseball team in a NCAA Regional loss at No. 5 national seed Arkansas Friday afternoon at Baum Stadium.

Keizor hit a first-pitch fastball off Razorbacks' All-American ace, Blaine Knight, in the top of the fifth inning to make it a one-run ballgame after the home side struck for two in the third. The Verdigris, Oklahoma, native added another round tripper in the seventh, but only after Arkansas put up a four-run sixth for a 6-1 edge.

The Razorbacks used four home runs on the day and were able to capitalize on mistakes by the ORU pitching staff in the opening game of the 2018 NCAA Championship. Justin McGregor suffered the loss in the start for the Golden Eagles as he battled through 5.1 innings on the mound.

Quotes of the Day

"Justin gave us a shot. I thought we did some good things today. One of the strengths we've had all year is our bullpen and they weren't great today. I thought we hit some balls hard, but hit it right at them." – Head Coach Ryan Folmar

Turning Point

The Razorbacks hit a two-out, two-run home run in the third to open the scoring before ORU answered back with one in the fifth cutting into the deficit. McGregor had kept the home side in check through five innings giving up just four hits, but could not escape trouble in the sixth as Arkansas scored four times on five hits to break through.
