2016-17 #TopORUMoments; #12 - Baseball Takes Down Top 15 Opponent

TULSA, Okla. – Beating Power 5 and nationally-ranked opponents has become a common occurrence for the Oral Roberts baseball team, and the 2017 season was no different, highlighted by a win over 11th-ranked Oklahoma at J.L. Johnson Stadium April 11.

Down one in the fourth inning, ORU rallied to score three runs and held on for a 3-2 win over the Sooners. With Nick Roark and Cal Hernandez each on base, eventual Summit League Player of the Year Noah Cummings gave ORU the lead on a two-run double to the wall in left center.

ORU split with the Sooners during the regular season, and went 5-3 against Big 12 competition this season, also taking down Kansas and Oklahoma State.
