Fall World Series set to begin November 5

TULSA, Okla. - The Oral Roberts University baseball team caps off fall practices with its annual Blue-Gold Fall World Series Thursday, November 5 through Saturday, November 7 at J.L. Johnson Stadium. The series in open to the public and admission is free.

The opening game of the series on Thursday will begin at 6 p.m., with first pitch for game two at 4 p.m. on Friday. The series finale is scheduled for noon on Saturday.

The Fall World Series is an opportunity to get a preview of the 2016 squad first-hand, including all-conference returners Matt Whatley and Chase Stafford, as well as 19 new faces in the ORU program.

The Golden Eagles finished the 2015 season with a 41-16 overall mark and 25-5 in The Summit League, advancing to the NCAA Tournament for the 25th time in program history. The 2016 schedule kicks off February 23 at J.L. Johnson Stadium when the Golden Eagles host Wichita State.
