Lexi Gann joined the Oral Roberts Sports Medicine staff as a graduate assistant athletic trainer in August 2019 and will work primarily with the Golden Eagles volleyball and women's tennis teams. She is a board certified athletic trainer (ATC), licensed athletic trainer (LAT) and ImPACT trained athletic trainer (ITAT).
A native of Bartow, Florida, Gann worked on the athletic training staff at Florida Gulf Coast as a student during the spring of 2019. While at FGCU, she evaluated, clinically diagnosed, managed and documented orthopedic injuries and rehabilitation for the Division I men’s tennis and women’s soccer teams.
Gann also spent time working with the Reinhardt University football team and took individual responsibility for ankle sprains, knee injuries and shoulder instabilities. Previously, she collaborated in rehabilitation, treatment, practice and game coverage for all spring season high school sports at Naples High School in 2018 and assisted athletic training efforts at Ave Maria University in 2017.
Gann graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida Gulf Coast University in May 2019. She was on the Dean's List from 2015-17 and earned a spot on the President's List during the fall of 2018. While at ORU, Gann is pursuing a Master of Arts in Leadership degree.
