McKenzie Fyfe joined the Oral Roberts volleyball coaching staff in 2019 as its volunteer assistant after finishing her playing career at Central Oklahoma.
The Grand Island, Nebraska, native landed on the All-MIAA Second Team in each of her two seasons as setter for the nationally-ranked Bronchos spearheading their high-powered offensive attack. She played 114 sets in 34 matches for UCO in 2018 totaling 570 assists following a 2017 season where she ranked fourth in the MIAA dishing out 1,195 assists to average 10.3 per set.
Fyfe transferred to UCO from Wichita State, where she spent her first two collegiate campaigns posting 190 assists in 23 matches for the Shockers in 2014 and 2015.
Considered by her coaches to excel at distributing the ball to the right place for attacking teammates, Fyfe also was an excellent defender on the back row showcasing her versatility.
Fyfe was a prep star at Grand Island High School, lettering two years in volleyball, three years in basketball and two years in track. She earned volleyball all-state honors in her senior season leading Class A in assists with 1,104 averaging 10.51 a set.
She graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in December 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education.
