DENVER, Colo. – The No. 5 seed Oral Roberts volleyball team could not keep pace with top-seed and host Denver falling in three sets (24-26, 19-25, 12-25) Saturday night in The Summit League Championship Semifinals from Hamilton Gymnasium.

The Golden Eagles were two points from winning the opening set before the Pioneers rallied back and never relented in front of a raucous crowd. That momentum swing toward the home side carried through as the ORU offense dipped to a .083 hitting percentage for the night, while Denver ended the match hitting .255. The two teams split the regular season series with each team winning on its home court.

ORU ends its season with a 17-15 overall record, going 8-8 in league play, and marks the final match of the career of its lone senior, Kari Anderson.
