Women’s Soccer Falls in Road Match at Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Oral Roberts women's soccer team went into halftime tied with Arkansas, but fell to the Razorbacks 3-1 Sunday evening in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Arkansas got on the board first taking a 1-0 lead in the 29th minute on a Golden Eagle own goal.

Jordan Langebartels scored her third goal of the season that tied the match 1-1 with 15 seconds remaining in the first half. Langebartels' goal was unassisted.

Parker Goins gave the Razorbacks a 2-1 lead in the 54th minute when she scored from eight feet out off a Stefani Doyle pass. Doyle was credited with the assist.

In the 57th minute,  Jessi Hartzler gave the Razorbacks a 3-1 lead off of a cross pass that she gained possession in front of the keeper and shot from four feet out. Nayeli Perez was given the credit with the assist.

Inside the Box Score
- Arkansas out-shot ORU 28-4 in the match. The Golden Eagles had three shots on goal.

- Paige Vincent started and played all 90 minutes for ORU. Vincent recorded nine saves.

- Between the two teams there were 15 fouls. Missouri State had 12 shots on goal and two saves.

- Lexi Jones, Jordan Langebartels and Amogelang Motau each had one shot on goal in tonight's game.
