Golden Eagles Drop Road Match at Arkansas State

TULSA, Okla. – Despite shooting 11 shots on goal the Oral Roberts women's soccer team fell to Arkansas State 3-0 Friday evening in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

The Red Wolves scored the first goal of the game in the 14th minute when Maggie Ertl gathered a throw in from Abby Harris inside the box and finished to her left to put Arkansas State up 1-0. Harris was credited with the assist.

Arkansas State made it a 2-0 game when Sarah Sodoma scored her third goal of the season in the 17th minute. Sodoma stole ball at midfield, took it down the center and finished to the right of the goal. Her goal was unassisted.

In the second half, Dana O'Boye scored the third goal of the match for the Red Wolves in the 85th minute on a penalty kick.

- ORU out-shot Arkansas State 21-6 in the match. The Golden Eagles had 11 shots on goal.

- Ryliegh Bohnenstiehl started and played 45 minutes for ORU. Bohnenstiehl recorded one save and allowed two goals. Paige Vincent played the other 45 minutes and allowed one goal.  

- Between the two teams there were 13 fouls. Arkansas State had four shots on goal and 11 saves.
