LINCOLN, Neb. – Led by Matt Owen, Brad Dormeus and Christina Ollison's event titles, the Oral Roberts track and field teams closed its first of two weekend meets Friday during the Prairie Wolf Indoor Invitational hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan. The limited squad competed inside the University of Nebraska's Bob Devaney Sports Center.
News and Notes
-Owen was the only pole vaulter to clear a mark of 4.72 meters to pick up the win, while Dormeus sprinted away from the field claiming the 200 meter dash in 21.64 seconds.
-Ollison won the 200 meter dash for her second collegiate individual victory as she raced to a time of 24.96 seconds with teammate Sasha Wells on her heels in 25.45 seconds finishing second. Victoria Neville also placed in the top eight for ORU covering the distance in 26.22 seconds.
-Aliyah Trotter and Kayvon Stubbs ran identical times of 7.86 seconds in the 60 meter dash to reach the finals where Trotter edged her fellow sophomore sprinter by one-hundredth of a second placing sixth overall.
