TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's soccer team tied the Eastern Illinois Panthers, 1-1, in double overtime Saturday evening at the Case Soccer Complex.
Tanguy Guerineau got ORU on the board early with a 1-0 lead in the seventh minute of play when he scored from 18 yards out on the left side on a Max Roetcisoender corner kick. Roetcisoender was credited with the assist. It was Guerineau's third goal of the season.
Eastern Illinois' Shady Omar tied the match at 1-1 in the 76th minute with a shot from six yards out on a Toby Andrews corner kick that was then passed in by Alex Castaneda. Andrews and Castaneda were both credited with assists.
