TULSA, Okla. - The Oral Roberts men's soccer team has signed three more players to National Letters of Intent, head coach Ryan Bush announced today. Javier Palero and CJ Rumley will join the Golden Eagles for the 2018 season.
Javier Palero | Cabanillas Del Campo, Spain | High School – IBS Ana Maria Matute
Javier Palero is a 5-foot-9 midfielder/defender from Cabanillas Del Campo, Spain. Palero is the son of Juan Manuel and Maria De Los Angeles. He is a 2016 graduate of IBS Ana Maria Matute and a junior transfer from Spain, UPM Etsidi in Madrid, Spain. He chose to come to ORU because he liked the academic and athletic programs.
CJ Rumley | Glenpool, Okla. | High School – Glenpool
CJ Rumley is a 5-foot-10 defender who can also play attacking midfielder from Glenpool, Oklahoma. Rumley is the son of Steve and Vickie Rumley. He is a 2018 graduate of Glenpool High School where he was a four year captain and the single season all-time assist leader. He was named to the east all-state team. He was three time all-district and three time MVP. He chose ORU because of the opportunity to play soccer close to home. He was recruited by Rogers State, Southern Nazarene, Oklahoma Wesleyan and Rose State.
