TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's soccer team held Missouri State scoreless for 64 minutes, but fell short to Bears 1-0 Tuesday evening at the Case Soccer Complex.
After a scoreless first half for either team, Santiago Riveros had the chance to put the Golden Eagles on the board with a penalty kick in the 48th minute, but Missouri State's goalkeeper, Liam Priestley, made a great save to keep the game tied 0-0.
Missouri State's Josh Dolling scored the game winning goal for the Bears in the 65th minute. Dolling put his team up 1-0 by receiving a high cross from Connor Langan and connecting with the right side of the net for the goal from 12 yards out. Langan was credited with the assist.
