The Oral Roberts’ golf programs swept the Summit League Golfer of the Week accolades Wednesday. Freshman Sarah Bell captured the first weekly accolade of her career on the women’s side, while senior Cody Burrows earned the fifth weekly honor of his career on the men’s side.

30 minutes into the final round of the Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate, rain came and the course was deemed unplayable, canceling the final round of the tournament and making the 36-hole results final. The Oral Roberts men's golf team shot -1 (287) in the second round of the Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate, Monday, and finishes in a four-way tie for seventh. The Golden Eagles shot 579 (292-287) to tie with Louisiana, Richmond and Illinois State in ORU's first tournament of the spring season.

Three teams received multiple first-place votes, but it was South Dakota that emerged from the pack to top The Summit League's Men's Golf preseason poll released Friday by league officials. The Coyotes garnered four first-place tallies and edged Denver, who received three, to claim the top spot by two points. Oral Roberts was third with 49 points while defending champion North Dakota State was picked fourth with 48 points.
