TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts and Rogers State men's basketball teams have partnered with the American Red Cross and will play an exhibition game at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, to aid in the hurricane relief efforts.
The game will be held in the ORU practice gym due to work being done in the Mabee Center and no seating will be available, but the university will accept donations until November 10. Both men's basketball teams will be adding to the donations collected during that time.
"We are honored to be able to be a small part of helping with the hurricane relief efforts," said first year Head Coach Paul Mills. "We encourage everyone to come by before November 10 and make a donation of any size that we can pass along to the American Red Cross."
An NCAA release in September encouraged schools and conferences to aid in relief efforts in the aftermath of hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria.
