TULSA, Okla. – The radio home for Oral Roberts men's basketball will be moving for the 2017-18 season as the Golden Eagles have reached a new agreement with The Franchise, it was announced Wednesday.
"On behalf of everyone at Tyler Media-107.9 The Franchise, we are very excited to be the new home for ORU athletics," said Lauren Rew, programming director and host of "Further Review with Hoover and Rew." "With the introduction of a new basketball coach, Paul Mills, we felt the partnership would be a great fit with "Oklahoma's New Sound for Sports."
All ORU men's basketball games will be broadcast on 107.9 FM and simulcast at 1270 AM. Adam Hildebrandt, who is in his second year calling games for ORU, will continue to serve as the Voice of the Golden Eagles.
"The Franchise will provide our fans one true home for ORU basketball. We are looking forward to a long lasting relationship," said ORU Senior Associate A.D./Marketing Scott Higgins.
