ORU Baseball Adds Tuesday Game with Oklahoma State

TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts baseball team has added a mid-week game against Oklahoma State scheduled for Tuesday, May 2 at 6:30 p.m. at J.L. Johnson Stadium.

The Golden Eagles (31-11 overall) now will face the Cowboys (23-18 overall) for the second time this season, and first time at home, after OSU was forced to cancel two games last week due to recent rainfall. The Cowboys picked up a 7-6, extra-inning victory over ORU in the first meeting back on April 18 in Stillwater and the two teams are still slated to play in the home finale for the Golden Eagles May 16.

Tickets are for sale with $16 for box seats, $13 for reserved and $9 for general admission by walking up to the gate at J.L. Johnson Stadium or by visiting the Mabee Center Box Office in the North Lobby. All season ticket holders will have a check-in table at the main entrance to receive entry. All kids 13 and under get in free.

ORU swept a weekend series with Fort Wayne out-scoring the Mastodons 36-3 in the three games, while the Cowboys dropped both ends of a Friday doubleheader at home against Texas.

Full coverage of the in-state matchup will be available on the ORU Sports Network at www.ORUAthletics.com featuring live video, audio and stats.
