Golden Eagles tame Bears in exhibition rout, 4-0

TULSA, Okla. – Kayla Nsien netted two goals for the Oral Roberts University women’s soccer team on Saturday as the Golden Eagles blew out Central Arkansas 4-0 in exhibition action in Conway, Ark.
Nsien started the scoring for the Golden Eagles in the 17th minute as she took a cross from Megan Giles, hitting the ball off the cross bar into the net from 10 yards out.
Late in the first period, the Golden Eagles netted a pair of goals in the 37th and 38th minutes. Kayla Keller gave ORU a 2-0 lead in the 37th minute, converting a cross from Chablee Sanders. A little over a minute later, Megan Guico placed a ball perfectly for freshman Amanda Dial who finished for the goal, giving the Golden Eagles a 3-0 lead at the break.
Giles connected with Nsien again in the 68th minute to complete the scoring for the Golden Eagles.

· ORU has never lost a match to UCA, including three regular season matches and Saturday’s friendly.
ORU will take the pitch again in its regular season opener on Friday as they host Pac 12 member Utah at 8 p.m. at the Case Soccer Complex. The match will follow the Golden Eagle men as they host USAO in exhibition play at 5:45.
